Global education provider Navitas has revealed its foray into the French higher education market with a decade-long collaboration with ICN Business School to prepare international students for their studies at the institution.

Navitas plans to establish the ICN International College, situated on the main ICN campus in La Défense, Paris’s prominent business district in the fall of 2024.

The ICN International College, set to launch in the fall of 2024, will provide foundation and pre-master’s programs in business and management. Upon successful completion, students will have the option to advance to additional studies at ICN campuses located in Paris, Nancy, and Berlin.

New opportunities
The ICN student body comprises 3,300 students, with approximately 38 percent being international, as noted by Navitas.
“I am incredibly excited about our partnership with ICN and the opportunity that it brings to international students.” said Paul Lovegrove, Navitas UPE CEO & Global COO.
Those enrolling in ICN International College will be immersed in a thriving industry hub, with opportunities to engage with over 40 student associations and industry experts, added Lovegrove.

Global reputation
Navitas highlighted the global reputation of French business schools, citing ICN as one of the oldest and a member of CDEFM within the Conference of Grandes Écoles.
ICN follows an #ArtTechnologyManagement pedagogy, emphasizing openness, commitment, and teamwork as core values.

ICN Dean and Managing Director, Florence Legros, expressed pride in the school’s 23,000 graduates and emphasized the commitment to training students irrespective of their background or nationality.

Legros expressed her pleasure in establishing ICN International College in collaboration with Navitas. She emphasized the obligation to recruit future international students, inviting them to participate in certified programs accredited by EQUIS, AMBA, and AACSB, and labeled sustainable development CSR.

Partnership with Germany
Navitas has also announced a five-year partnership with SRH Universities Germany, paving the way for the establishment of the SRH International College at the SRH University Heidelberg campus. This initiative aims to create a supportive and secure environment for international students to pursue their educational aspirations.

The collaboration is set to enhance prospects for international students seeking higher education in Germany, a country known for its prestigious universities and global recognition.

Internationalization in Australia, Canada, and the UK

Navitas and Nous Group are shedding light on globalization and internationalization strategies in education in their comprehensive report: “Thriving in a Hyper Competitive World.”

The research is based on an online survey of 100 senior operational and strategic university leaders responsible for internationalization initiatives in Australia, Canada, and the UK. The survey, conducted from August to November 2022, delves into critical areas of concern for these institutions.

The report underscores how internationalization remains a top priority for university leaders across the three countries. Notably, the focus primarily revolves around international student recruitment. This emphasis can be attributed to several factors, including the need to recuperate swiftly from pandemic-induced losses, inadequate public funding for universities, and a decline in the influx of Chinese students.
