Direction EdTech has launched the Admitted App, a platform that simplifies the college application process for high school students.

Led by Jacky Szeto, the company’s founder and chief consultant, along with a team of AI specialists and education experts, the Admitted App aims to empower students with the knowledge and tools needed to navigate this crucial phase of their academic careers.

Bridging the information gap

More than 16 million students aspire to pursue higher education in the United States, but not everyone has access to professional consultancy services. The Admitted App seeks to bridge this gap by providing information and guidance and leveling the playing field for applicants.

Key features of the Admitted App include performance metrics to streamline college selection, personalized reminders to ensure applicants meet deadlines, and step-by-step instructions for a hassle-free application process. Additionally, the app offers internship opportunities and extracurricular activity recommendations, assisting students in identifying the ideal school that aligns with their interests and strengths.

Advancements

The Admitted App is now available for download on both the App Store and Google Play, with plans for additional features in the near future.

These upcoming enhancements include a parental version of the application scheduled for January 2024, the integration of chatbots to address frequently asked questions, and the utilization of AI to assess an even wider range of colleges and courses.

The app is also set to include 3D virtual tours of university campuses, making the college application journey even more manageable and informative.
