The U.K. government’s Turing Scheme is set to provide over 40,000 disadvantaged students with international study and work opportunities in more than 160 global destinations. The scheme, which aims to increase social mobility, will allocate nearly two-thirds of these opportunities to underrepresented backgrounds. Schools, colleges, and universities across the UK will receive close to £105 million ($137.48 million) to facilitate these placements.
