Coursera CEO forecasts continued growth, emphasizes role in shaping future of online education

The surge in Coursera’s learner base is a testament to this shift. From 47 million users in 2020, the platform has grown to over 129 million registered learners today.

The survey conducted by EdTech firm Chegg showed that only 20 percent of American students have started using generative AI tools, such as ChatGPT or OpenAI, in their academic activities.
