SI-UK announced Rob Grimshaw as its first CEO.
Rob Grimshaw is an experienced CEO with a 15-year track record of leading businesses in education, legal services, and digital publishing.
The education sector is Rob’s passion, and he spent six years from 2014 to 2020 transforming the ed tech company Tes Global and its then subsidiary, Times Higher Education and World University Rankings. He loves the positive impact that successful businesses in the education sector can have on the world.
While running FT.com, the digital division of the Financial Times, from 2008-2014, Rob developed a reputation for innovation. He led the introduction of a new business model that sparked rapid growth in revenues and subscribers.
At Tes, he continued to break new ground by reshaping the business into a platform for various software services for schools and teachers. In his most recent role at Simply, he has focused on supporting growth by optimizing workflows and improving productivity and client service. He loves the challenge of finding ways to help businesses expand.
As part of the changes, Dwayne Gallagher’s title and role will change from SI-UK Managing Director to SI-Global Chairman. Orion Judge will continue as an SI-UK Global Director, with both Dwayne and Orion also sitting on the Board of Directors for SI-Global.
